Responsible for HR administrative support at distribution facility located in Cairo, GA. Provides support to 200+ associates in multi-state coverage area (GA/FL/AL). Work includes full cycle recruiting, pre-employment process, applicant tracking, onboarding, new hire orientation, off-boarding, files maintenance, associate engagement programs, HR reporting, maintenance of self-service portal and associate records maintenance. Provides effective customer service to both internal and external customers and builds productive relationships across all departments. Effectively utilizes all HR systems (HRIS, applicant tracking system, etc.). Supports VP HR in employee relations, safety program (depending upon site), and other related administrative support. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company. Here are some details regarding job duties:Assists with full cycle recruitment process; may prepare and post requisitions, coordinate social media postings and other job advertisings, assist with open house/job fair, screen and manage applicant flow using applicant tracking system (ATS) including phone screens and interviews; manage all post offer processing. Understand and execute recruiting in accordance with Affirmative Action (AA) / Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO).Conduct all onboarding activities to ensure all required forms are completed and filed as needed. Ensure all benefits and policies are fully explained and understood. Provide ongoing support, education and training on benefits and employee programs. Assist employees with preparation and submission of all personnel-related forms on an as needed basis.Maintain all personnel and privacy records per state/federal law and company policy.Provide backup support to payroll as needed/assigned. Maintain accurate record of employees’ time, including sick/vacation days and personal holidays.Process all personnel changes (i.e. pay, position, status, etc.) utilizing self-service portal. Complete all actions per company policy to ensure timely processing in accordance with Compensation Guidelines and SOX.May assist with the administration of workers compensation functions to ensure all appropriate forms have been completed, including preparation of injury reports and Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) / regulatory logs as well as maintaining records on lost time and modified duty time for injured employees.
