Responsibilities

The Alliance Support Suite is seeking a Software Developer team member with experience in application development to work in a dynamic technical unit with emerging technologies and product centric mindsets. We are looking for innovative individuals who are self-starters and like being part of a team to develop and implement creative solutions in collaboration with our alliance partners.

Responsibilities include:

Possesses an understanding of how technology solutions meet the business outcomes and offers a range of solutions for business partners
Participates in sprint planning; provides work estimates to deliver product stories
Develops solutions on a variety of platforms according to business requirements
Completes required coding to satisfy the defined acceptance criteria and deliver desired outcomes
Leads solution design, considering risks, mitigations, performance, user experience, and testability
Assists in development of automated testing and supporting code as necessary
Completes required documentation to communicate information to deployment, maintenance, and business teams
Utilizes agile software development practices, testing standards, code reviews, source code management, and continuous delivery
Participates in the full software development cycle including coding, testing, implementation, support and sunset
Designs, develops, tests, and supports software to meet our objectives
Possesses an understanding of User Experience practices to improve usability and interaction between customer and product
Adopts Service Design, where appropriate, through architecture modularity to enable continuous delivery
Considers applying emerging technology solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness; expectation of continuous innovation
Resolves problems that result in decreased time to market; improves quality, enhances flexibility, and embraces the solution provider mindset
Provide input into overall testing plan; contributes to test approach and scenarios for requirements
Provides product and/or process expertise necessary to support design, development, testing and execution of solutions
Exhibits DevOps mindset where team is accountable for product from inception to sunset

Qualifications

We Are Seeking Candidates With:

Full-stack (UI and services) experience
Applies innovation, passion, and flexibility in daily work
Must be self-motivated and a team player
Possesses and understanding of how technology solutions meet the business outcomes and offers a range of solutions for business partners
Experience leading technical requirements gathering current and building solutions from those requirements
Design and Execution experience in the full software and development cycle including coding, testing, implementation, support and sunset
Experience designing and developing and RESTful web services
Experience with Java Development, Spring and Spring Boot frameworks
Solid understanding of OO design and coding principles (security, design, testing, code quality)
Experience increasing quality by applying various (ex. unit test cover, automated acceptance tests)
Learning agility and desire for continuous improvement/personal development

Highly Desired Skills/Experience:

Full stack web developer with the following skillset:

Java
J2EE
Spring Boot
Maven Design/develop SOAP
RESTful services
Additional Skills/Experience:
Azure
UI
