Procurement Specialist

Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Contracts Administrator in East Point, Georgia. The role involves managing contracts, overseeing procurement processes, and writing proposals for various work sessions. This position is in the telecom industry and requires a strong understanding of the procurement process as a whole, including the utilization of specific software for procurement tasks.Responsibilities: Develop and manage contracts from initiation to execution Oversee the entire procurement process Handle the solicitation process for various aspects of the business Manage and respond to all Request for Proposals (RFPs) Utilize procurement software (SmartBidNet) effectively for various tasks Write contracts tailored to the needs of specific proposals Determine cost and writing terms for contracts Define the scope of work for each contract Ensure proper document retention for all contractual documents Route contracts for signature following the appropriate protocols Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and invoice handling Maintain comprehensive documentation related to all procurement activities.Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Procurement Specialist or in a similar role Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Strong skills in documentation and invoice management Familiarity with SmartBidNet software Experience in preparing and managing proposals and RFPs Excellent negotiation and strategic thinking abilities Strong understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement Ability to network and establish relationships with suppliers Strong project management and leadership skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or relevant field.
