Scheduling, canceling, and rescheduling patient appointments.

Communicating with patients, providers, referring physician offices, and staff.

Reminding patients of upcoming appointments.

Registers patients into the computer system, printing requisitions, including pertinent clinical indications, which are used as a basis for charges.

Print daily next day's scheduled exams and reviews for accuracy of exam, diagnosis, patient prep, with special attention to insurance requirements. Calls office of referring physician for any exam not having proper documentation.

Assists receptionist in greeting and directing patients and assists in answering incoming calls.

Insurance verification and verification of patient demographics

Confirms that patient is properly prepped prior to check-in.

Payment processing of co-pay's and/or patient balances.

Handles the patients request for medical records, i.e. copies of images on CD's, copies of reports or mailing CD's to other facilities.

Initiates Triage Policy on possible communicable disease exposure when applicable by notifying a supervisor or the manager.

Assists with getting Physcians on phone and faxing reports to Dr.s office.

Performs other related organizational duties as requested to expedite the daily work flow.
