Property Maintenance Technician

The maintenance technician must have reliable transportation and be willing and able to travel to our properties in the Fayetteville, Newnan, Tyrone, Stockbridge, McDonough, Villa Rica, and Hiram, GA.  While performing all job duties he or she is expected to demonstrate a positive attitude.  The maintenance technician is expected to keep an organized, orderly supply room and manage the following key aspects of property maintenance (this list is representative, not exhaustive):Clean vacant unitsMaintain golf carts, gates operators and keypads, and other equipmentPerform light inspections and replace light bulbs and ballasts as neededMonitor maintenance supply inventory for re-ordering and keep stock organized in supply roomsPick up trash around propertySpray weedsPressure washingInspect, clean, and replace signageInspect PTAC and HVAC units.  Clean and replace filtersClean and mop hallwaysTransport supplies among the Atlanta locationsTurn office suites, including painting, plumbing, and carpentry where neededWire and mount camera and networking equipment The maintenance technician is expected to work five days a week, typically Monday through Friday, and be on site during the entire day except for a one hour lunch break.  Our standard office hours are: M-F:  9am - 6pmSat:   9am - 4pmSun:  ClosedThe maintenance technician position is eligible for Storage Xxtra’s employee benefits package, which includes healthcare, 6 days of paid time off for holidays, and 16 additional days of general paid time off for the year.  Pay range from $20/hr to $25/hr depending on the level of experience.  Mileage reimbursement also included.
