Summary About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the USA Intelligence and Security Command Headquarters 513th Military Intelligence Brigade Resource Management Office in Fort Eisenhower, GA. Responsibilities Prepare Brigade data tables for General Financial Enterprise Business Systems – Sensitive Activities (GFEBS-SA) and oversees maintenance of Resource Management (RM) On-line IAW guidance from INSCOM, Brigade RMO and Brigade Budget Officer. Oversee all phases of the Brigade's Civilian Pay Program. Manage the administration and maintenance of the Defense Travel System (DTS) throughout the Brigade. Manage the 513th MI Brigade’s overall Government Travel. Review assignments for accuracy and completeness. Manage the tracking and analyzing prior year deobligations in order to determine corrective actions impacting future year budgets. In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as experience in two or more of the following: analyzing budget estimates, managing fiscal appropriations to enable organizational operations and/or reconciling travel data using an automated accounting system. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GG/GS-11) You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Budget Execution Budget Formulation, Justification & Presentation Decision Support Financial Management Analysis Financial Management Systems Fundamentals & Operations of Budget Education Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. Incumbent of this position is required to comply with all Department of Defense and Department of the Army requirements of this certification program. This certification requirement is a condition of employment for this position. Failure to obtain this certification within the required time may subject the incumbent to adverse action. This is a Human Capital and Resource Management (11) Career Field position. Salary includes applicable locality pay or Local Market Supplement. Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government interest.
