License Practical Nurse (LPN)

Job Description:Provide skilled nursing care to patients in Acute Care, Primary Care and Specialty Clinics settingsPrepare, administer, and document actions related to medications (oral, topical, subcutaneous, intramuscular, and/or intravenous) as permitted by facility policies Monitor and document patient responses to medications and treatments Interact professionally with patients, family members, and healthcare team members Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (CPRS) Follow all VA policies, safety standards and procedures Participate in patient education and care coordination May be required to work with COVID-19 positive patients and PUIs Comply with all infection control and safety protocols
