The candidate will be responsible for leading industrial stormwater support activities that include but are not limited to: overseeing the preparation and implementation of stormwater permit applications and planning documents, overseeing technical teams conducting monitoring, sampling and inspections, and performing regulatory technical reviews. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance, responding to client requests, verifying technical adequacy, adherence to internal and external policies and procedures, and overall management of project budgets, scheduling, and task completion.What you can expect from APTIM:

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Experience in leading large projects and teams.
Perform standard project management duties to include overseeing project budget, invoicing, cost management, schedule, subcontractor management, team management, and client communications.
Prominent level of interface with clients to ensure client satisfaction and develop new opportunities.
Oversight of permitting, inspection, monitoring, and data management for industrial stormwater projects.
Experience in managing the development and implementation of permit and planning documents, including the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Multi-Sector General Permit (MSGP) or State-Specific General Permits, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP), No Exposure Certifications (NEC), Best Management Plan (BMP), and Preparedness Prevention and Contingency (PPC) plans.
Ensuring the planning, organizing, and scheduling of project staff within required frequencies and timeframes.
Overseeing completion of assigned work activities with ability to manage his/her own time to meet deadlines set by others and ensure delivery of quality work products.
Performing thorough technical review of reports prepared by others to determine compliance with regulatory requirements, identify and report non-compliance issues, and make recommendations toward corrective actions.
Ability to work independently and as part of a project team with willingness to adjust to changing conditions, capacity to complete straightforward tasks following established procedures, and aptitude for potential routine problem solving as encountered.
Interface with project databases and tools to measure project performance and KPIs.
Comply with all internal and client-related safety protocols.
Function efficiently and collaboratively within a large project team.
Monitor applicable regulatory requirements and stay abreast of regulatory trends.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in related field (civil engineering, geology, environmental sciences) desirable.
10+ years of experience providing project management services, with an emphasis on stormwater related services to customers.
Firm understanding of storm water compliance requirements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
Team player mentality with demonstrated history of meeting project deadlines and achieving client satisfaction.
Must be competent using Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
Motivated and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
Ability to interact with clients, various project consultants, contractors, and team members.
