Job duties include, but are not limited to:You must possess an upbeat, friendly, and dedicated personality! You should be able to multi-task and have literacy with computers. We use Cornerstone operating system, proficiency is a plus. Our veterinary assistants interact with clients, run diagnostic equipment, assist with restraint and blood draws, fill medications, type medical records and receive inventory. In addition to the duties listed above, cleaning, checking patients in and out, in and outbound phone calls, and scheduling are part of the position. The ideal candidate should be comfortable standing for long periods of time, bending, stooping, twisting, kneeling, reaching, stretching and being in close quarters with team mates for 8+ hours per day. The schedule for this position is as follows: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. No holidays! No weekends!
