POSITION SUMMARYThe Senior Engineer will be involved in reading and implementing test standards and testing Connectivity consumer products; Generates test plan, initiate test set up, monitoring of test data and report writing. Additional duties include generation of quality procedures and work instructions, design and implementation of test fixtures, acquiring lab equipment and obtaining and maintaining accreditationsJOB FUNCTIONSGenerate test plan, initiate test set up, monitoring of test data             Review design against current standards (ISTA/ASTM/UL/ CSA /EN / IEC, etc )                  Test to current standards (ISTA/ASTM/UL/ CSA /EN / IEC, etc ) and implement new standards as needed Write test procedure (SOP) for all implemented standards.  Work with clients to set up customer specific test plans and modify as needed    Train technicians on day to day testing once set up is complete            Perform routine operation, maintenance, calibration, qualification, and trouble-shooting of laboratory equipment and instrumentsGenerate reports based on review and test data
