This position will have direct responsibilities with twelve of our larger DC’s across both the US and Canada.Key Responsibilities:Drive Supplier Performance Analyst performance by clearly articulating supplier requirement misses and participate in negotiations to meet the operational requirementsCreate a world class internal customer service program helping to deliver solutions that improve processes for Portfolio Management, Finance, Distribution, Transportation, Inventory Planning, Ecommerce, and Purchasing.Understand Distribution Operations – Receiving, Backstock (put away and picking), Shipping.Design, develop, and deploy relational databases and automated workflows to increase efficiencies for current and ongoing operational processes that drive improve and support inbound productivity.Aid in the development of strategic and tactical cross-functional performance metrics.Manage compliance reporting and operational execution activities throughout all cross-functional organizations.Train internal customers and peers on the use of tools and processes created for Supplier Management.Develop cross-functional team that will help develop and implement future company strategies that build on current and future supplier requirements assist with advanced Distribution auditing tools.Engagement and support driving operational excellence through efficiency and quality.Support supplier discussions regarding non-compliance issues delivering solutions that positively impact both companies.Engagement at supplier’s distribution center to drive operational improvementsProvide insight and execution into our current EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) capabilities and percentage utilization.Support EDI integrations and implementations to enhance operational efficienciesUnderstand and drive quality of all EDI transactions – 850, 855, 856, 810. (preferred not required)Engage and support all levels of the Operational Leadership/Facility Teams.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in business related field (Supply Chain logistics, Distribution management information systems) is required.3 to 5 years’ experience, preferably in a high volume, multi-location distribution environment, concentrating in distribution operations, inventory management, or transportation.Preferred Qualifications:Travel to Distribution Center sites approximately 50% of the time.Travel to Supplier facilities 25% of the time.Agile and flexible. Able to work in a fast paced, demanding environment and move from project to project as needed.Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:Extensive knowledge of PC applications specifically Excel and Power BI. Experience in relational databases using SQL preferred.Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
