Come, build your future with us!The Boeing Global Services C-17 Transport Tools and Technical Services team is seeking a C-17 Technical Publication Delivery Specialist . This role will focus on the integration, final quality checks, publishing processing, and support production and delivery of end products. This includes the coordination between Boeing C-17 Technical Publications and external customer on delivery format(s), requirements, and maintaining data library.This is a hybrid position that allows telecommuting. The selected candidate’s work on Monday and Friday may be performed virtually, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday will be in the onsite office at the Warner Robins , GA . facility.Position Responsibilities:

Prepares and compiles final technical end-products for delivery.

Gathers general data to support production and delivery of end product.

Complies with program directives, sales orders, or other requests to ensure external customer contractual agreements for technical documents are met.

Reviews vendor supplied materials to ensure general contractual compliance.

Performs final quality check on data from writer or editor or on other data products.

Produces final products in digital format or other formats per contract requirements.

Maintains delivery record data files; receives, files and retains reproducibles according to contract requirements.

Maintains general technical data library.

Works under general supervision.

Be flexible in a fast-paced, changing-priorities environment.

Be open and receptive to constructive feedback.

Be proactive in learning new products, systems, software, tools, workflows, and tasks to support overall team’s goals.

Be comfortable in working on multiple cross-functional teams as required.

Take ownership for assigned tasks and required follow-up actions.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Associate’s degree or higher

Experience in a role that required strong technical, analytical, and writing skills

Experience in a role that required functioning in self-directed environment

Works with both PDF based publications and web-based IETM.

Knowledge of S1000D XML to aid in validation and verification actions.

Expected to work across local and remote teams to be trained and accomplish tasks.

Must be skilled and knowledgeable with using computers, traditional office software products, SharePoint, GitLab, and others.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Experience with technical publications and associated languages (S1000D XML, SGML)

Experience using Microsoft SharePoint, GitLab

Experience with government customers to deliver services and products

Typical Education/ Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor, 3 years' related work experience, etc.).Relocation:This position does not offer relocation.
