We consider a number of factors when making individual compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, and other business needs.  This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive program, subject to the rule governing the program.Position Summary:The Operations Supervisor position is responsible for both Delivery and Warehouse operations. This position will supervise the day-to-day activities of the delivery department along with responsibilities over warehouse inventory, receiving, slotting, replenishment and order selecting.Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:Supervises daily delivery operations, planning and scheduling manpowerAssigns drivers and vehicles to convey freightCoordinates drivers according to customer requests in compliance with DOT regulations and company rulesCommunicates with customers to determine driver needs and schedules and notifies drivers of assignments and enters assignment data in computer databaseEnsures quality standards and productivity standards are achieved with safety being a priority.Responsible for Warehouse productivity tracking, to meet customer schedules and maximize operational efficiencyAssists with various transportation/warehouse duties related to DOT regulations, OSHA, fleet operations, and schedulingCoaches and leads the Warehouse team to increase productivity and provide high-quality customer serviceEnsures completion and proper execution of work proceduresAccountable for all inventory functionsOther projects or duties as assignedRequired Skills and Experience:Associates degree and 3-4 years of related experience in warehouse, transportation, purchasing, inventory controls, customer service, sales or similar supply chain department including 1 year of people leadership experience; or High School Diploma and 5+ years of related experience including 2+ years of people leadership experienceMust be available to work any hours, days, or any shiftStrong communication (written and oral) and problem-solving skillsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsAble to safely use various warehouse equipment, including a forkliftExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient in Microsoft OfficeThis position must pass a post-offer background and drug testPreferred Skills and Experience:College Degree or equivalentBilingual (English and Spanish) preferredPhysical Demands and Work Environment:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
