POSITION:
Currently taking applications for Someone who can work a steady one to two days a week, including Weekends & Holidays.
Its a Part-time position.
Skills Needed:
Funny, entertaining, having a background in being a professional musician, actor, or comedian is a plus.
Enjoy sharing and educating people, are upbeat good natured, a people person.
Enjoy Having a higher purpose, giving Mana'o about our Aina & Culture.
Loves creating memorable experiences while being professional, keeping safety first.
Excellent customer service skills, and good communication skills, can follow the observances of the location.
Conducting tastings experiences with enthusiasm & sharing on how eating healthy keeps them and our planet healthy.
Friendly, positive, responsible, a hard-working individual that is “Honest” & loves a purpose driven life!
Job Duties Include:
Giving 120 minute educational Natural & cultural tours of the private tropical hiking area
A self-starter that thrives on exceeding goals
Tidy, Organized, Can Show up On Time Consistently
To start with, be able to work either one or two days a week are are able to be on call and work weekends & holidays.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays and pick up shifts when needed
A positive, friendly, adaptable, flexible attitude, helpful and enthusiastic
Good natured team player.
Landscaping duties to help keep the trails maintained, the Aina Beautiful here.
Able to Lift up to 35 Pounds or More, no prior back problems or health problems that will inhibit your ability to work for a full 4 or 8 hour shift.
Able to do Leaf Blowing, Pruning, Weed whacking & Chain sawing when need be.
If you have Handyman skills, Landscape & Organic Gardening, Forest Farming that's perfect we can give you extra work.
BENEFITS:
Base pay per tour $100.00 per tour normally, there are normally two a day in the high season.
GRATUITIES ARE NORMALLY GREAT!
AFTER 8 MONTHS YOU GET A $100 BONUS AND A RAISE, (if you keep your five star average up)
Company will pay for you to get your CPR certificate as it is requirement.
Volunteer opportunities to Malama Ke Aina 4 hours a month.
Must:
Enjoy working in an energetic & entertaining educational environment
Enjoy woking outside in nature in "all" forms of weather rain or shine, walking, hiking & getting your forest fitness on!
Reliable; able to be present for weekend shifts be on time and dressed appropriately
Be available to cover shifts for the other guides & work two or three days a week weekends and holidays.
Has a upbeat fun, positive attitude, have the ability to engage with a wide range of people
Has reliable transportation.
We are a drug and alcohol free location, no coming in high.
Enjoys helping a good cause as our organization donates to CHARITY to help protect and put this ancient sacred Historical Location into preservation.
