BODY GLOVE CRUISES has a an immediate full-time position available for Reservations. Candidate must have excellent communication skills, be multi task oriented, enjoy working with people in a fast paced environment, have strong organizational skills, be a self-starter with the ability to keep on task and in line with programs. Must be flexible, hours to include early mornings, afternoons and weekends.
A reservationist handles all aspects of tour reservations, while assisting guests with any retail needs they may have.
This requires good communication skills, a strong voice and friendly attitude. Since we don't have the benefit of face-to-face interaction most of the time, we must convey both friendliness and professionalism through voice. Customers on the phone may be rushed, confused, flustered or angry, and part of the job is to set them at ease.
You must be able to use the computer while on the phone, which requires some multi-tasking. Must be able to negotiate rates with customers, as permitted, and to know the rates the company offers, discounts available and when.
Reservationists handle reservation requests over the phone, through e-mail and in person.
The retail portion of the job includes greeting guests, answering questions, offering assistance, suggesting items, lending opinions and providing product information. Individual responsibilities may include demonstrating, keeping the selling floor stocked with merchandise, assisting in display of merchandise or organizing the selling floor and stock areas.
