We are great place for those who Enjoy creating memorable experiences for folks while getting the wisdom of our culture & our ancient agricultural practices & conveyed to them while encouraging them to make lifestyle choices that helps save the Aina and our planet.

If you have a talking bird, can dance hula or can chant in Hawaiian or play ukulele, then that is a PLUS but not necessary! We are here to inspire & enrich lives.

We are looking to HIRE promising applicants as soon as possible to become one of our EDUCATIONAL GUIDES, Training will be at our Huelo Destination.

Extensive outdoor training is a part of the package. If you're talented at leading, instructing or sharing enthusiasm for the Natural and Cultural History & a farm to table experience then tell us all about yourself and your previous experience in a resume.

POSITION:

Hiking Educational Cultural, Agricultural & Natural History Guides.

Part-time and possible full time position.

Skills Needed:

Funny, entertaining, loves to share with & educate people

Love Having a higher purpose, giving Mana'o about our Aina & Culture.

Love creating memorable experiences while being professional, keeping safety first.

Excellent customer service skills

Conduct tastings experiences with enthusiasm sharing how eating healthy keep them and our planet healthy.

Ability to talk in front of Large groups can handle and mange large groups of people

Ability to work well alone as a self starter or with others

Friendly, positive, responsible, a hard-working individual that is “Honest”

If you have handyman skills and landscaping or organic forest farming skills that is a big plus as we can give you work doing those kinds of tasks as well.

There is some landscaping with this gig.

Job Duties Include:

Giving 120 minute educational cultural tours of the private tropical hiking area

A self-starter that thrives on exceeding goals

Tidy, Organized, Can Show up On Time Consistently

To Start with be able to work either two or five days a week or more and be on call when need be.

(But we might be able to be a bit flexible with The Days You Need)

Can keep A flexible schedule including holidays.

A positive, friendly, adaptable, flexible attitude

Enthusiastic & able to establish rapport, effectively communicate with diverse clientele in a fun yet professional and welcoming manner.

Able to Lift up to 50 Pounds or More, no prior back problems

Able to do Leaf Blowing, Pruning, Weed whacking & Chain sawing tasks when need be.

BENEFITS:

The opportunity to Volunteer help upgrade trails, for a good charity and to help restore a ancient Hawaiian site, fix

fences, land clearing, land maintenance, upgrades to agricultural buildings, planting, pruning, raking and landscaping.

Company will pay back the CPR training that is required.

Requirements:

Enjoy working in an energetic fast paced & entertaining educational environment

Enjoy woking outside in nature in "all" forms of weather rain or shine

Reliable; able to be present for scheduled shifts on time and dressed appropriately and / or available to cover shifts when needed

A good positive attitude, have the ability to interact appropriately with a range of different people

We provide a clean environment to work in hence a drug, alcohol & smoke free environment.

Do no coming in high and no smoking anything while on site.

We are a pure vegetarian location, we observe that no meat, fish, or eggs are brought on site but when you have a AM and PM tour we provide a nice yummy simple lunch for you.

Our organization donates to CHARITY to helps to protect upgrade restore and put into conservation and one of Hawaii's most historical cultural sites. We also help when our community is in need, like feeding families during the entire pandemic and helping with the Maui Wildfires having fed over 2,000 and raised over $30,000 for those most in need and housing survivors here at our location.
