Bavarian Motor Experts, a leading independent BMW, Mercedes, Porsche and MINI service specialist in Honolulu, Hawaii, is seeking a highly skilled Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cars and a proven track record of growing the business while providing clients with exceptional service.

We are dedicated to delivering the highest level of service and expertise in maintaining German cars. Our team has a wealth of experience and our shop is equipped with the latest tools and software. You will be responsible for scheduling vehicles for servicing, guiding the customer through the repair process and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Making appointments, processing repair orders, quotes and invoices

Providing customer support via phone and face-to-face at the shop

Qualifying customer problems and logging them for technicians to review

Ensuring customer approval for all remedial work to be carried out

Internal coordination of service work to adhere to commitments made to customers

Estimating costs and time for work to be carried out, and maintaining customer contact to ensure smooth delivery of vehicle

QUALIFICATIONS:

A minimum of 10 years of experience working as Service Advisor / Writer on German cars

In-depth knowledge of at least one of the following brands: BMW, Mercedes, Porsche or Mini

Candidates MUST possess above-average phone and communication skills

Must bring a positive, upbeat attitude to this role and be completely comfortable upselling clients on needed services and repairs

Excellent follow-up and follow-through skills to ensure client satisfaction

Must have the ability to communicate technical information in non-technical terms to clients

Ability to evolve and adapt to changing business needs

Experience with Mitchell 1 software a plus

COMPENSATION:

Earning potential up to $150,000

Pay is negotiable and based on experience
