AECOM is seeking a self-motivated experienced Environmental Geologist for our Honolulu office. In this important position, the successful candidate will support Project Managers in the planning, oversight of fieldwork, and evaluation of hydrogeologic and reporting phases for a wide range of multidisciplinary environmental projects.  Projects include large Federal clients, Refineries, and numerous commercial clients.   We are open to having anyone in the US fill this role from their current location within the Unites States.  The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: Performs standard scientific work requiring application of techniques and procedures.Detects problems when using standardized procedures because of the condition of sample, difficulties with the equipment, etc. Conducts specific phases of projects for more experienced scientists. Proposes appropriate analytical methods and techniques. Assists in providing advice and consulting services within scope of scientific knowledge. Draws conclusions and makes recommendations based on analysis. Interprets and records data, conducts analyses, compares findings to relevant studies and local, state and federal regulations to ensure compliance.Works under general supervision.
