Requisition Number 19-0797Post Date 5/9/2019Title Manager, Supply Chain Contracts & WarrantyDepartment Supply Chain ManagementCity HonoluluState HIPart-Time NoPart-Time Weekend NoDescription Position OverviewManage the contracts and warranty management processes for the Supply Chain Management department and collaborate with other teams across Tech Ops to ensure suppliers perform to contractual and warranty terms. Key Responsibilities
Act as principal advisor on supplier warranty matters within Supply Chain Management department
Supply Chain Management’s principal agent in resolving issues with supplier contracts, operational performance, and warranty claims
Subject matter expert of supplier contracts to include rates, service level agreements (SLA’s), and terms and conditions
Escalate contract and warranty issues to supplier leadership to ensure contract adherance and achieve agreed upon outcomes for the company
Identify opportunities to develop new contracts, and amend existing contracts to achieve cost savings, service level improvements, and other value for the company
Liaise with Vendor Performance Management (VPM) and Sourcing & Procurement in supplier contractual negotiations with respect to Supply Chain operational requirements. Escalate continual supplier issues to VPM for support when needed
Develop metrics, reporting, scorecards and related processes to track supplier performance
Lead efforts to negotiate resolutions to supplier performance issues with root cause corrective action (RCCA) plans
Develop and manage supplier operational procedures manuals
Collect feedback from Purchasing & Repairs and other Tech Ops departments on supplier performance issues that require resolution
Develop and manage standard operating procedures (SOP’s) for optimizing the successful identification and capture of supplier warranty terms across the Tech Ops supply base. Collaborate and communicate this guidance to leadership across OEM’s, suppliers, SCM, and M&E
Lead efforts to maintain warranty terms data and related processes in Trax to aid in the successful identification, tracking and capture of warranty claims
Review invoices for accuracy and identify/challenge discrepancies (especially on over and above and out of scope fees)
Develop processes to monitor supplier credits, and ensure the credits are fully utilized
Establish and facilitate contract & warranty training for Buyers and Repair Specialists, and other relevant Tech Ops stakeholders
Stay informed of contract management and warranty industry best practices to aid in implementing process improvements

Requirements Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Aviation Management, Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or relevant field
Minimum 5 years’ experience with contracts, warranty, supply chain, airport operations and/or other relevant fields
Proficiency in financial analysis concepts, statistical analysis, and cost control
Familiarity with aircraft maintenance repair and overhaul operations
Must function in an independent decision-making environment. Self-Drive and ownership of accountabilities
Must demonstrate proficiency/willingness to act in a hands-on role: gathering relevant information, advancing issue to resolution, summarizing program status at a high level to cross-functional departments and senior leadership
Must have excellent written and oral skills
Excellent negotiating and analytical skills
Proficient in use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Visio, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or Master's degree
Previous airline operations managerial experience
