Positions Overviews:
Hourly Rate: $22-24/hr with Tips
Join our team where you can earn a competitive base rate of $17 per hour, plus average tips ranging from $5 to $7 per hour.
Back of House/Prep Position Responsibilities:
- Prep food items according to recipes and portion standards.
- Follow all food safety + sanitation procedures.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly.
- Support back end by restocking, prepping and plating as needed.
- Dispose of waste responsibly and maintain recycling/composting standards if applicable.
- Order processing.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate orders.
- Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff.
- Assist in closing and opening duties.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the back end area.
Back of House/Prep Position Qualifications:
- Be able to handle fast-paced environment
- No previous training required but experience in a kitchen environment is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is preferred
- Prior experience in a back-of-the-house role preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and customer service-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work as part of a team are essential qualities for this role.
