Aloha! Huggo's and On the Rocks are kama'aina owned and operated legendary oceanfront restaurants, located in the heart of Kailua-Kona.
Executive Chef (Albert Asuncion) has been with our restaurant since the 70s- he leads with Aloha and is quick to recognize hard work and drive with advancement. Chef Albert has mentored dishwashers to become prep cooks, and prep cook to line cooks, and line cooks to become supervisors and Sous Chefs.
His counterpart, our Dir of Operations, "Aunty Mahea," has been with our ohana for over a decade and has made mentoring her team her life's passion. All of her staff become her 'keiki' and students, and there is no one better to help mentor those with limited experience.
FOH is hiring:
Busser/Runner - 14/hr + tips
Host/Hostess - 20/hr

FT - Dishwasher/Utility - 18/hr + tips
FT - Rocks Line Cook - 23 - 25/hr + tips (depending on experience & skill)
FT - Huggo's Line Cook - 22 - 24/hr + tips (depending on experience & skill)
