Qualifications:
- Basic knife skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Proven experience in the food and beverage industry with a minimum of 6 months to 1 year of BOH (Back of House) experience
- Must be familiar with kitchen equipment (fryer, flat top, makeline, oven, broiler, slicer, chef base)
- Flexibility to adapt to the dynamic nature of a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Responsibilities:
- Keep line stocked and restocked
- Safely handle raw meat (steak, chicken)
- Cook and assemble all menu items accurately
- Communicate respectfully with prep cooks about needs
- Use heavy machinery (commercial food processor, automatic slicer)
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion
- Clean and sanitize kitchen stations, dishes, utensils
- Follow proper health and safety regulations/protocols
