SET THE COURSE

The Food Truck Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing Tommy Bahamas food truck operation in the assigned location. Oversight of all operational needs and supervision of food truck staff.

BE THE ISLAND GUIDE

Maintain the food truck, including coordination with vendors and internal teams as it relates to inventory, purchasing, scheduling.

Ensure compliance with all Department of Health rules and regulations related to operating a food truck.

Ensure that the food truck and staff are consistently punctual for scheduled service times.

Ensure that each person visiting our food truck has an experience that mirrors our in-house restaurant experience.

Drive the food truck and be flexible with schedules and locations on a day to day basis.

Mentor and coach food truck staff. Assist with hiring process when needed.

Ensure profitability and operational excellence for the food truck business.

Maintain a positive attitude at all times.

Understand Profit/Loss Statement, sales reports, food cost, labor cost while being able to maintain these numbers according to plan.

Provide feedback to local and corporate restaurant management to provide input to be used in decision making and execution of the food truck business strategy.

Willingness to take on other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIALS FOR LIFE IN PARADISE

Generally, 5+ years of hospitality related Experience

Generally, 2 years of restaurant supervisory/managerial experience

Knowledgeable on food safety laws and regulations.

Clean driving record and ability to drive a food truck to multiple locations.

Food handling permit.

Comfortable using a computer, navigating through windows and Microsoft office, POS systems, outlook email.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to life up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.

Bending, stooping and kneeling frequently. Mobility to work in a small space.

Ability to be exposed to weather conditions, heat and potentially smoke.

Ability to stand up to 8 hours a day in a Food Truck.

Ability to drive food truck.
