Benefits Administrator – Help Us Level Up Our Benefits!
We’re looking for a Benefits Administrator who’s ready to take our benefits from “good” to “wow.” If you love helping people, streamlining systems, and keeping things compliant without killing the vibe, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
-Lead the transition of all benefits in-house with smart, scalable processes.
-Manage day-to-day benefits: medical, dental, vision, life, 401(k), and voluntary plans.
-Be the go-to person for employee questions—friendly, fast, and accurate.
-Run open enrollment, renewals, vendor relationships, and employee education.
-Keep us compliant with ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, and Hawaiʻi-specific regs.
-Track usage, costs, and feedback to keep improving our programs.
-Build strong partnerships with carriers, negotiate contracts, and monitor performance.
-Support LOA and accommodations with Employee Relations.
-Improve workflows between HRIS, benefits systems, and Finance.
-Help evaluate new tools and create helpful dashboards and reports.
What You Bring
-3–5+ years in benefits or total rewards (benefits-focused).
-Strong knowledge of federal + Hawaiʻi compliance requirements.
-Experience managing vendors, open enrollment, and employee benefits education.
-A service mindset—empathetic, solution-oriented, and people-first.
-HRIS and benefits platform experience; Excel/Sheets skills on point.
-Excellent communication, organization, and negotiation skills.
-High integrity and confidentiality with sensitive info.
