Industrial Hygiene Technician

EnviroQuest, Inc. is a consulting firm for environmental and industrial hygiene issues. We are seeking a full time Technician responsible for overseeing compliance of regulations at hazardous materials removal projects.
This position requires a strong person who is attentive to detail and procedure. It requires knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to ensure compliance by understanding the different types of work procedures and their nuances. We will provide training – NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY.
Duties:
Perform HAZMAT testing including communication with clients and laboratories
Compliance with safety regulations (OSHA, EPA, HDOH)
Write project reports
Maintain field equipment
Basic Qualifications & Requirements:
Able to travel inter-island and out of state for extended periods
Computer literate and able to adapt to company software including MS Word
Current driver’s license and vehicle with current registration, safety check and insurance
iPhone
High school diploma
Ability to obtain access onto Federal bases and other secured areas
