We're seeking hands-on, dependable team members to join our Production Support crew.
Job Description:
The Production Support will perform setup procedures, assist Equipment Operators by providing raw materials needed to process food and perform end-of-day closing procedures.
Through direct supervision by the Director of Operations, the Production Support team will ensure all products are produced safely, cost-effectively and on time and that they meet all the required quality standards.
The Production Support demonstrates strict adherence to the principles of cGMP's, sanitation, safety and hygiene standards.
Essential job functions are to ensure that all the raw materials provided to the Equipment Operators are compliant with the policies, procedures, guidelines and requirements of the Food Safety Plan thereof.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
General Duties:
o Gather necessary supplies and packaging needed for the day’s shift. o Cleaning and sanitize equipment in preparation for production.
o Assist in the production of food related items in accordance with company procedures, ensuring GMP standards are met. o Perform end of day sanitation procedures.
o Complete Sanitation Logs.
Requirements:
Ability to display personal hygiene standards.
1 or more years of experience in food preparation, food production or related field a plus.
Proficient knowledge in sanitation, safety and hygiene standards a plus.
Education, Training, Skills and Experience:
Read, write, and comprehend the English language.
Proficient writing skills.
Proficient communication skills, (both oral and written).
Basic mathematic skills, (add, subtract, multiple, divide).
Physical Challenges:
Repetitive tasks for extended periods.
Standing in place for extended periods.
Lift and carry at least 50 lbs occasionally.
Occasional exposure to temperatures of 32° Fahrenheit and less.
Occasional mobility up and down single flight of stairs.
Relations:
Come to work with an enthusiastic and positive attitude.
Create, maintain, and inspire rapport between employees, customers and vendors.
Show respect for other’s ideas, opinions, suggestions, needs, abilities, and interests.
