Overview:
808 Towing is a locally owned business that operates twenty-four hours a day, three hundred and sixty-five days a year.
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Automotive Detailer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that vehicles are thoroughly cleaned and maintained, both inside and out, to the highest standards. This role requires an eye for detail, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform thorough cleaning of vehicles, both interior and exterior, including washing, waxing, and buffing surfaces.
Vacuum and shampoo carpets and upholstery to ensure a pristine finish.
Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces to provide clear visibility.
Apply protective coatings and treatments as needed to enhance vehicle appearance.
Specialized cleaning of engine bays.
Assist with any additional tasks related to vehicle maintenance as required.
Maintaining cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working order, and restocking as needed.
Keeping the detailing area clean and organized, following safety procedures, and adhering to company standards.
Conducting thorough inspections of the vehicle's interior and exterior, identifying any damage or issues for reporting to management.
Documenting vehicles' conditions through reports and photos.
Adhering to company guidelines, checklists, processes and quality standards.
Transporting cars between locations and parking vehicles in safe places.
Skills:
Interpersonal skills, Knowledge of car care equipment, Meticulous attention to detail.
Experience in car wash operations or detailing services is preferred.
Proficient in buffing techniques and cleaning methods for various vehicle surfaces.
Familiarity with janitorial or custodial experience is beneficial.
To do well in this position, you will need to be physically capable of performing manual labor while standing for the majority of your shifts.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for moving vehicles as needed.
