We consider a number of factors when making individual compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, and other business needs.  This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive program, subject to the rule governing the program. Position Summary:This position is responsible for performing cycle counts, compiling, and maintaining records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, and/or supplies stocked in the distribution center and/or items to be returned. Research root causes for count discrepancies. Performs quality checks and supports the product recall process. The cycle counter will provide support to all departments as needed. Perform all work duties in a safe and efficient manner, foster a sense of teamwork and collaboration with operational stakeholders that upholds commitment to a safe work environment.Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:Follow and complete daily cycle count schedule; ensure the integrity of the physical count of the in-house inventory via cycle counting and other duties assignedCycle counts the warehouse once per week and conducts full warehouse inventory at least once per year. Cycle count includes all pick and reserve slots for discrepancies and Product/packaging integrity issuesSupports product loss and damage program, and help investigate causes of damage and lossParticipate in recoup and disposition of damaged and destressed product, following program guidelinesPerforms quality checks around date sensitive, slow-moving, and obsolete items via interaction with supply chainResearch causes of weight variances, receiving/put away/let down issues, and damaged product in the slots from warehouse movesProactively checks First-in First-out (FIFO) items for proper rotationConfirm reserves are properly recorded and verify the count of each reserve palletVerify the put-away and transfer process performed by the day and night personnelInitiate and document product transfer from the cooler to the freezerMaintains housekeeping & sanitation expectationsMeets and maintains safety, quality and productivity standardsCoordinate will call orders when scheduledOther projects or duties as assignedRequired Skills and Experience:0-2 years of general administrative experienceHigh School diploma or GEDDemonstrated problem-solving skillsProficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) applicationsExcellent attention to detailStrong organizational and analytical skillsAbility to eliminate distractions and to be able to concentrate and analyze during the counting processExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProven ability to multi-task effectively and produce accurate, timely results in a fast-paced, constantly changing environmentConsistently demonstrate a positive approach, team-player attitude and professional demeanorAbility to be productive working independently or as part of a teamWilling to work any shift and any schedule due to our 24/7 environmentThis position must pass a post-offer background and drug testPreferred Skills and Experience:1+ years of work experience in a distribution center environment is highly preferred.Familiarity with warehouse management systems is preferredPhysical Demands and Work Environment:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
