The Outreach & Engagement Specialist provides outreach services and use his or her best efforts to ensure that hard-to-reach veterans and active duty service members, who are at elevated risk for suicide death, are found, engaged, and provided supportive services. To provide these services, the Outreach & Engagement Specialist will act as the liaison with government and private agencies, and other service providers in the community. The Outreach & Engagement Specialist must demonstrate an active commitment to Catholic Charities Mission and strives to incorporate the four Core Values in all aspects of daily work.
EDUCATIONAL & WORK REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related filed. A high school diploma plus five (5) years of experience working in human services may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree. Experience working with Veterans and/or Active Duty Service Members and experience/knowledge of suicidal ideations and prevention best practices a plus.

COMPENSATION: $42,496 – 49,490
