WOMEN HELPING WOMEN is seeking qualified applicants for the following position: TRO Program Advocate
This position is summarized as follows:
To provide assistance with Temporary Restraining Order preparation and accompaniment to court. To adhere to and maintain the integrity of the overall program philosophy and policies of Women Helping Women
Duties include answering the phone and returning calls, providing in-person services, maintaining client files and activity logs, helping at court on hearing days, and other assigned duties.
Position details include:
40 hours per week: Monday-Friday 8am-4:00pm
$18.75 per hour; semi-monthly pay periods
position works with and reports to the TRO Program Coordinator
located at Women Helping Women's Wailuku office
ongoing training provided (during work hours)

Minimum requirements for this job include:
High School Diploma or GED
Basic ability with office software (MS Word and Excel, Adobe Acrobat)
Ability to understand and be understood clearly in spoken and written English in time-sensitive and emotionally complex situations
Must be willing to undergo criminal history background check (including State/FBI fingerprinting) and child welfare services background check. These are only required after job offer is made; WHW does not do credit history checks.
