Position Title: Van Driver

The Van Driver will operate an accessible and regular agency van to transport our consumers to medical appointments or shopping centers.
ESSENTIAL POSITION & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
Safely transport consumers to the assigned destination
Maintain preventive maintenance and standards of safety.
Clean van and make simple types of repairs and upkeep.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Valid Hawaii driver’s license. Clear traffic abstract. Good driving habits. Must be familiar with the Big Island. Personal experience with a disability preferred. Must be experienced with ramp and wheelchair transport. Must have basic computer skills.
COMPENSATION
16.00 /hr. Paid vacation and sick leave, paid State and federal holidays, paid medical, dental, prescription, vision and mileage reimbursement.

High school diploma or GED
