We are seeking a motivated and detailed-oriented Assistant Production Warehouse Manager in the coffee industry. The importance of this role is to assist and complete daily operations across our coffee production facility and warehouse. Preferred experience in working with specialty coffee or similar food/agricultural sectors. 1-2 years of experience in production, manufacturing, or warehouse.
Job Description - Assistant Production Warehouse Manager:
The Assistant Production Warehouse Manager key-role is to assist the Production Warehouse Manager on all necessary tasks and create an efficient workflow environment.
Assist in managing daily production activities including roasting, grinding, packaging, and labeling. Ensure quality standards for roasted and packaged coffee. Support the roasting and production teams by preparing materials and monitoring workflow.
Maintain clean, organized warehouse zones and enforce safety best practices. Assist with loading/unloading, pallet organization, and efficient warehouse layout. Ensure proper handling and storage, picking, packing, and shipping tasks as directed by the manager.
Monitor stock to prevent shortages and report needs proactively. Track coffee usage, packaging materials, and finished goods inventory.
Provide daily direction to production and warehouse staff when required. Support performance feedback and assist management in team development.
Ensure compliance with food safety, handling procedures, and workplace safety guidelines. Identify issues and escalate concerns to the Production Warehouse Manager.
Over-see all customer orders with the addition of reviewing delivery orders and ship to inter-island as well as international shipping.
