DC Asphalt Services is seeking dependable and hardworking Laborer(s). The ideal candidate will assist in the construction, maintenance, and repair of asphalt surfaces, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
Requirements:
Ability to perform physical labor and work in outdoor conditions (all weather conditions, noise, dust)
Experience with asphalt or general construction preferred, but not required
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, nightshift and/or overtime as needed
Valid driver’s license and clean abstract is a must
Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude
Able to follow instructions
Key Responsibilities:
Safely load and transport equipment to job site as needed
Prepare work sites as needed
The ability to operate various hand and power tools such as rakes, shovels, tampers, and other equipment is a plus
Load and unload materials and equipment(Must be able to lift at least 80 pounds)
Follow safety protocols and wear proper PPE at all times
Perform routine checks and maintenance on tools and machinery
Support other crew members and contribute to timely project completion
