Opportunity for stable employment with a friendly team and community! Employee- and resident-friendly non-profit organization seeking assistant property manager for large residential property. Full-time position – generally M-F, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. General Position Description

Among other duties, primary responsibilities include facilities, grounds, personnel, and contract management, rules enforcement, and budgeting. In cases of maintenance emergencies, responsible for coordinating the work and directly overseeing staff and contractors during and after business hours. The property is currently undergoing major renovations that are expected to last through August 2026.

Candidates must have solid management experience and leadership qualities. Position needs a highly organized person who can excel in competently juggling multiple responsibilities, pays attention to detail, has excellent listening skills, can work well with all types of people, and can remain calm under stressful conditions.

Applicants must have experience in residential building maintenance; scheduling; competency in use of MS Office applications; knowledge about maintenance tools, equipment, and systems; understanding of purchasing and inventory management; the ability to read blueprints. Knowledge of Yardi maintenance, Section 8, Fair Housing, and Landlord/Tenant regulations helpful.

Position Qualifications

Qualified candidates must possess a minimum of five years management or supervisory experience in facilities maintenance or related fields. Strong communication and interpersonal skills required. Must possess a valid Hawaii driver’s license and current auto insurance.
