Are you a skilled tradesperson with experience in a millwork shop? Do you possess exceptional craftsmanship skills and a keen eye for detail? Are you passionate about creating unique woodwork, including cabinets, fixtures, trim, and other bespoke items? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as our Shop Foreman, overseeing various innovative and customer-oriented projects.

We are located in Kailua Kona, Hawaii, and we are in search of a Foreman Cabinet Maker/Millworker who shares our commitment to ensuring our projects meet the highest standards from start to finish.
Responsibilities include:
Oversee all new cabinet and millwork projects and cabinet-related repairs.
Proficient in operating cutting and joining tools and machines.
Read and interpret blueprints.
Problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude.
Maintaining standards in quality and craftsmanship is a must.
Manage and participate in the precise execution and completion of each customer project.
Meet deadlines, even when they may be tight.
Advise on appropriate care for finished products.
Cut, assemble, and complete wood, laminate, and veneer cabinets.
Maintain and monitor the shop to keep a clean and safe workspace and abide by all safety standards.
Manage appropriate care for finished products.
Supervises the cabinet shop employees.
Ability to stand for hours, occasionally necessary to stoop, kneel, and lift 50+ pounds.
Required Skills:
5+ years’ experience in casework, cabinet making, door or millwork.
Experience running and maintaining large shop equipment, such as slide saws, drum sanders,
shapers, band saws, molders, and edge banders.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, a positive attitude, extremely organized,
and the ability to teach others.
Ability to read cabinet shop drawings, interpret blueprints, create cut lists, and do material take-offs.
Match materials and grains to create a uniform appearance for all the matching units.
Responsible for ensuring all production is completed safely and on time and verifying that the
quality of the final product meets company standards.
Ensure all shop equipment is well maintained and in good working order.
The ability to work in CAD is a plus.
Be capable of following and upholding all company policies and requirements outlined in
the employee handbook.
Keep a typical work schedule of Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
Must have reliable daily transportation.

The pay rate varies between $40 – $55 per hour DOE and prior employment history.
