We are seeking a responsible, experienced and reliable live-in Handyman or Handywoman for our household in East Oahu. This is a great opportunity for one person (no roommates) seeking a stable and relaxing living situation in exchange for helping with day-to-day maintenance projects.
The ideal candidate would be:
- A non-smoker.
- Comfortable with interacting with a small family
- Respectful, with good communication skills
- must be in good physical health
- must be able to work unsupervised on assigned projects
- must be able to operate most power and hand tools which we will provide
- must be able to lift 20-25 pounds on a consistent basis
- - must be able to provide valid character and job references
Minimum requirement:
-must have at least 5 years experience doing general carpentry, plumbing and maintenance work
-must have basic skills in:
- power wash cleaning
- painting
- carpentry
- plumbing and faucet repair
- electrical and light fixture repair
- cabinet repair
- window and door repair
- landscaping (including in-ground sprinkler and low voltage outdoor lighting systems)
Compensation includes:
- A private furnished bedroom with shower, fridge, tv, and microwave
- All utilities (water, electricity, internet).
- Rent-free living in a comfortable, clean home.
- A monthly stipend of $3,000.
Requirements:
- Valid Drivers License
- Must pass background check and submit 3 references.
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
