Delivery driver /courier (Honolulu, HI)
Coast Ground Express, LLC is looking for independent contractors (IC), delivery drivers (couriers). Independent contractor positions, 6 days a week. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, be reliable, and possess a valid driver's license class C. Applicants must have a reliable vehicle (passenger car/sedan), vehicle must be registered to driver, with insurance also in the driver's name. Drivers must be eligible to work in the US. Applicants will need to complete a W9 form and contract. Must have own cell phone (android or iPhone). Experience a plus, but not required. A good option as a small family business. Drivers will be operating as an Independent Contractor and will be paid per route basis. Pay bi - weekly through direct deposit to your bank account. Independent contractors will get the 1099 Tax Form (as self-employed).
Delivery takes approximately 3 to 5 hours per day depends of route area. Afternoon routes are available (from 3 p.m.). Route contains about 10-18 stops per route. Aside from driving a delivery vehicle from one place to the next within a specific area, an IC must have an ability to work with your phone app. Start and finish the assign route on time. Ability to complete logs and report, and ability to communicate with dispatch.
