Starting pay:
$17-25/hour depending on type of transport and degree of difficulty. Bonuses, incentives, and pay differentials available.
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior medical experience and/or transportation experience of disabled persons preferred.
Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age
Pre-employment drug screening
Pre-employment criminal background check (No active criminal cases or felony charges)
Pre-employment physical exam
Traffic Abstract (No more than 3 moving violations within the past 3 years)
Valid driver’s license
GE License
Job Duties:
Safe assistance and transportation of clients
Physically operate and/or lift transport equipment (wheelchair ramp, wheelchair, gurney, transfer slide board)
Extended periods of sitting, intermittent bending, squatting, lifting, pushing, and pulling of 50lb or more
Daily safety check of vehicle
Daily cleaning of interior and exterior of vehicle
