Role Description:The Global SEO Information Architect / Taxonomist will be responsible for organizing and managing Ecommerce website and SEO content to ensure it is accessible and easy to use. Specifically, the individual in this role will be designing and implementing category taxonomies, entity ontologies, and content tagging hierarchies to enhance the accessibility, navigability, and usability of HP.com Store digital content.This role involves working closely with cross-functional central and regional teams to ensure that website content is well-organized, tagged appropriately, and aligned with our Digital GTM organization's strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in knowledge base management, category classification and development, designing data models, tagging multimodal content types for SEO, and educating key stakeholders about taxonomy processes.Core Responsibilities:
Provide in-depth Ecommerce domain analysis to identify taxonomy gaps and needs.
Gather and analyze data / feedback reports to identify technology requirements, content template gaps, and define an implementation framework.
Educate stakeholders on knowledge processes, data workflows, and implementation framework to support a holistic information architecture.
Define knowledge processes and identify technology requirements for creating, capturing, organizing, accessing, and using knowledge assets from APIs / databases.
Develop, adjust, and maintain website taxonomy and content templates to ensure consistency and alignment with use cases and knowledge processes.
Ensure that digital content is appropriately tagged and has correct metadata for SEO, dynamic content delivery models, onsite search, and data analytics.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
4+ years of experience in knowledge and content management or equivalent areas.
2+ years of experience in developing taxonomies / ontologies to support a variety of data systems for front-end and back-end use.
Experience with evaluating and implementing complex taxonomies / ontologies to support content management systems and refining information architecture at scale.
Experience with designing taxonomies to support external and internal search, product discovery, and data analytics applications of large scale.
Experience training machine learning classification systems and conversational AI platforms using designed taxonomies / ontologies.
Experience with a variety of topic or domain types and complexity of taxonomies.
Experience communicating and presenting taxonomy principles and modern standards.
Fluency in business English is necessary; fluency in other languages is a plus.

The base pay range for this role is $100,000 to $149,000 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only).
