Employment Type:Full timeShift:Day ShiftDescription:We are looking to hire either a Registered Nurse or a Cardiovascular Professional for our Cath Lab Department in Boise. This position is 8 hours a day Monday-Friday and will be located at our Regional Medical Center (https://www.saintalphonsus.org/location/saint-alphonsus-regional-medical-center) off I-184 and Curtis Rd.About Boise: Idaho's capital city (and third largest city in the Pacific Northwest!) is located in the high desert of southwestern Idaho, right on the Boise River. Consistently high ranking on various top ten lists relating to safety, affordability and work-life balance, it's easy to see why Boise is the place to be.About this Position : Colleagues working in the Cath Lab care for an adult population with cardiac illness or injury. This is a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to adapt to the needs of the patient and department so cardiac experience is needed.

Performs duties in Cath Lab related to the following procedures: diagnostic right and left heart catheterizations, pacemaker/ICD insertion, coronary interventions including balloon pump insertion, PTCA’s, Atherectomy (Laser and Rotablator), Stent, IVUS, myocardial biopsy, peripheral angiography and interventions, pericardiocentesis, and other cardiology procedures as assigned.

Functions as a member of the Regional Cath Lab Team to provide a safe, efficient environment.

May require orienting, travel, working and call coverage between Boise and Nampa Cath Lab departments as needed.

Maintains accurate and complete documentation of care provided.

Serves as patient advocate.

Utilizes resources wisely while promoting physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being.

Registered NurseLicense/Certification:

Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Idaho. Multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire.

American Heart Association Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification required at date of hire

American Heart Associate Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire

Cardiovascular ProfessionalLicense/Certification:

Must have one of the following:

Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT),

Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), or

Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).

American Heart Associate Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required at date of hire.
