We are on the hunt for a Crew Leader that can coach, and mentor teams, own inventory, and equipment needs, and is not afraid of getting their hands dirty and working in production. The Cabinet Crew Leader is responsible for everything that happens on a cabinet job site including assembly of pre-fabricated cabinetry units and installation. This is a role and person that everyone on the crew looks up to. This role is the first go-to for questions and problems. The 3-Legged Stool of a Crew Leader is: (1) Managing the Job, (2) Managing the Customer (3) Managing Employees. This role is also responsible for regular feedback to your team at Webfoot (Resource Coordinators, Sales, Location Managers) and Webfoot's vendor to drive our process forward to deliver consistent successful installations onsite.
When cabinet projects are not on the schedule this role is first responsible to ensure all cabinet-related projects are on track. After all cabinet-related work that can be completed, is completed, this role is responsible for being a successful member of a concrete coatings installation team.
It is Webfoot's vision and intent to grow Cabinets to a full-time team, but until there is full-time cabinet work this role is responsible for being a Cabinet Crew Leader and a Coatings Team Member.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of carpentry experience
- Must have 3 or more years of experience managing a team
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must be able to carry/lift up to 100 lbs
- Attention to detail, critical thinker, and problem-solver
- Excellent communication skills; interpersonal, written, and verbal
- Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift, push, pull or carry up to 100 lbs. Prolonged periods of standing, climbing, bending, and kneeling. Must be able to safely work with sharp tools and power equipment. Heavy use of one or two hands with repeated movements of fingers, grasping, moving, or assembling objects. Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and terrains.
