Make $55,000 to $75,000+ annually. Stair installers usually have the work space to themselves, work mostly indoors, and create statement pieces for every home. The stair railing can be a selling point for any home and we expect the stair railings we install to be the highest quality. We’re looking for people that are willing to work as a full-time employee making anywhere from $55,000 - 75,000 depending on their efficiency and skills.
Hiring immediately for an experienced carpenter that could install stair railings full-time. This would be a full-time W2 employee that is fully tooled, has reliable transportation, communicates well, and would be able to install stair railings that pays piece rate (pays per project).
NECESSARY TO APPLY:
● Has every tool to complete the job - Miter saw, skill saw, jig saw, levels, hand tools, nail guns, compressor, ladders, grinder, drills, etc.
● Reliable transportation that can haul tools and stair job materials. Most stair jobs will require installers to transport 18 ft rails, long pieces of wood, 1x12 skirtboard material and your vehicle needs to be able to take that material to the job site.
● Valid drivers license.
● Needs to know stair regulations and building codes - needs to know how to install skirtboards, cap, newel posts, railings, balusters of all varieties, etc.
● Will be questioned about experience and would expect to see photos/portfolio of previous work done.
