As a Journey-Level Sprinkler Fitter, you’ll work on a variety of projects throughout Boise, Idaho- Treasure Valley and surrounding areas. You’ll be responsible for the install , inspect, repair, and maintain fire sprinkler systems in commercial and residential environments. Bringing craftsmanship and precision to every job site. Complete an application online for the Boise, Idaho areaCall or text : 503-396-7983Recruiter :Lisa ColburnEmail:Lcolburn@peopleready.comResponsibilitiesInstall, assemble, and test fire sprinkler systems according to blueprints, specifications, and NFPA standardsCut, thread, and install steel cooper , and CPVC pipePerform service repairs, and routine maintenance on existing systemsRead and interpret plans, drawings, and hydraulic calculationsCollaborate with project managers , superintendents, general contractors, and other tradesConduct inspections and ensure systems meet code requirementsMaintain safe work practices, comply with OSHA, and company safety standardsQualifications:Journey- level Sprinkler Fitter certification or equivalent experienceMinimum of 4+ years’ experience in fire installation and/ or serviceStrong knowledge of NFPA codes and fire protection standardsAbility to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to work from ladders, lifts, and in varying environmentsValid Drivers license and reliable transportationAbility to lift 50+lbs and work on active construction sitesStrong problem- solving skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and teamwork skillsNICET level l or ll in Sprinkler systems; preferred by not requiredBackflow certification; preferred by not requiredThe hourly rate for this position is $30.00-45.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
