Seeking a part time mechanic. Mid to upper level mechanical ability with decent diagnostic ability. Knowledge of APUs helpful. Our fleet consists of Freightliner Cascadias.
Routine maintenance, diagnostics, upgrades and repair to be done part time.
Wage is DOE.
Schedule is flexible. A full day or two a week or a few hours a day multiple times per week, whatever works best for you. There is a lot of work right now, but as things get caught up I foresee 10-20 hours per week.
We have a small shop and basic tools for repairs.
We are seeking a team player that likes the small business aspect of the company. Shouldn't be a high pressure situation. I expect full effort and attention too detail. Ability to collaborate on the direction and priority of repairs needed.
This is a unique situation for a tech to establish a repair program with a growing company and help evolve the maintenance program as the fleet grows.
