Job Description
Curious Media is seeking a motivated React Native developer with experience developing apps for iOS and Android mobile platforms in addition to supporting web applications with React. We are seeking someone who takes initiative, enjoys finding solutions to a varying number of challenges, is detail-oriented, and takes pride in their work. This is a full time position, requiring normal office hours.
Responsibilities
Build beautiful cross platform UIs
Provide meticulous attention to detail when transposing provided designs and vision into a full customer ready application
Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms
Work with the React Native community to make mission-critical bug fixes
Required Skills
Firm grasp of the JavaScript (ES6) language and its nuances
Knowledge of object-oriented programming
Ability to write well-documented, clean Javascript code in an efficient manner
Experience working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts
Familiarity with native build tools (Xcode + Android Studio)
Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model and offline storage
Strong written and verbal communication skills, organizational and planning skills
Additional Skills
Objective C, Java, Swift
HTML, SCSS and CSS
Experience with MVC frameworks (React, Vue)
Experience precompiling code (Webpack, SCSS PostCSS, Babel)
Experience in web animation (CSS animation, Javascript animation)
Experience in front end development in frameworks (CraftCMS, Laravel, Wordpress)
Qualifications
Previous React Native experience (required)
Github projects (preferred)
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred)

Relocation
