Responsible for the overall performance of the teller line, including member service training, goal setting, performance driving, accuracy, audits, and coaching. Provide operational and member service training to Member Service Specialists. Ensure a favorable image and climate for the Member Service Specialist team. Train to become a Branch Manager.Duties and Responsibilities:Help ensure smooth operation of the branch in all areas.

Develop teamwork and cooperation of branch personnel to meet branch goals.

Innovative marketing of the Credit Union services.

Develop and grow branch through business development activities.

Be an active member of the community by volunteering on service organizations.

Assign, direct and coordinate work of all Member Service Specialist staff within the department. Coordinate schedules, lunches and breaks of the Member Service Specialist staff.

Ensure all individual cash drawers are balanced on a daily basis and the quality and quantity of work is kept at a high standard.

Maintain a continuous focus on meeting all NPS goals and Eagle Service standards with branch.

Ensure accuracy of daily vault and branch operations.

Help create team member Strength Development Plans.

Hold regular coaching sessions to provide improved performance from Member Service Specialist team.

Conduct periodic audits of the Member Service Specialist drawers and report any irregularities to the Branch Manager.

Hold weekly meetings with the Member Service Specialist staff to discuss changes in the procedures, policies and new products and services and to provide enthusiastic and motivational training.

Take ownership of, support, and bring to resolution all member escalations.

Keep Branch Manager informed of member needs or desires in regard to products, services, suggestions, and/or escalations.

Effective team member recruiting, hiring, onboarding, mentoring, and training of new team members.

Completion of performance documentation and adequate training to meet the needs of each position.

Ensure all team members’ appearance and dress reflects the standards of a financial institution.

Ongoing and continuous self-development, learning and training to prepare to become a Branch Manager.

Act as Branch Manager in Branch Manager's and Assistant Manager's absence.

Assist in the upkeep and maintenance of physical facility.

Monitor branch daily duty checklist to ensure all operational tasks are completed promptly and accurately, and that the branch remains in compliance at all times.

Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred. Tenure of a minimum of three years experience as a Member Service Specialist Supervisor and/or Branch asset size of $100 million or more. Ability to work with other department supervisors. Ability to supervise personnel within the branch. Ability to effectively work and communicate with Administration. Ability to maintain the confidentiality of Credit Union records at all times.Performance Standard:Be able to ensure the smooth operation of branch and quality service to the membership. Ability to accurately input member transactions and balance cash daily. Prioritize to allow 15 hours per week for coaching. Be involved in business development and community service activities. A cooperative and positive attitude toward members and staff. Professional in appearance, attendance, quality, and quantity of work performed. Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by Idaho Central Credit Union.Physical Requirements:Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, collating, typing, counting cash, etc.).

Sit for extended periods of time.

Lift 20-40 pounds of applicable supplies including but not limited to copy paper, cash drawers, marketing material, etc.

Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, and fingers.

Reach keyboards.

Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator, computer, telephone, copy machine, fax machine, etc.).
