Description We are seeking a Controller to join our team! The chosen candidate will be instrumental in managing and recording the financial transactions of the business. This role will involve meticulous maintenance of general ledgers, overseeing and reconciling financial transactions, and ensuring the accuracy of all financial data.Responsibilities: Oversee the Accounting department to ensure smooth operations Conduct regular audits of all financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with local laws Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders Participate in budgeting and forecasting exercises to support business planning Assist with tracking Accounts Payable vendor costs Work collaboratively in a fast-paced office setting Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure timely updates to the general ledger Reconcile entries into the accounting system to ascertain the accuracy of transactions Handle billing, invoicing, and customer interactions, delivering high-quality customer service Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash journal, month-end, and year-end adjustments Oversee payroll and payroll records, ensuring all deductions are accurate and comply with state and federal filings and reporting Handle reporting and tracking for multiple states, including monthly Diesel reports, quarterly diesel taxes, mileage reporting, IRP, IFTA, Department of Transportation knowledge, Excise taxes, sales & use taxes, and Prevailing wage & Davis Bacon Manage employee benefit packages, including inputs and tracking Perform other duties as required.SALARY RANGE: $90,000 - $120,000 BENEFITS OFFERED:

Requirements
Must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in a Controller role or similar position Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required Demonstrable experience in managing Accounting Functions Proficiency in Double Entry Accounting processes Familiarity with Auditing processes Experience with Budget Processes Proficiency in Sage 50 Knowledge of Logistics Familiarity with Human Resources (HR) Administration a plus.
