Ready to take the next step in your career?Kelly is recruiting for Direct Hire Mechanical Assemblers for our client in Bartlett, IL!Automotive AssemblerDirect Hire opportunity$5,000 sign on bonus$400 performance bonuses paid out oftenPiece work rate paid out after training- make an additional 25% of your wage! $5.13 – $5.38 per hour!Schedule and Pay Rate:Pay: $20.50/hourShift: Monday to Friday from 6:00am – 2:30pm OR 3:00pm - 11:30pm
Training occurs on 1st shift for one week
Overtime is always optional, never mandatory
As a mechanical Assembler, you will:
Primary job function is installing new aftermarket equipment on new vehicles
Build vehicles according to work instructions and prints
Safely mount and connect mechanical and electrical equipment
Test Installed parts prior to final inspection
Verify all line items have been completed on the work order
What are we looking for?
1-3 years of previous electrical, mechanical and equipment assembly experience requires OR completion/current enrollment in an accredited Technical School
Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools
Ability to understand electrical schematics
Ability to understand 12V circuits
Ability to troubleshoot problems
Some welding experience preferred but not required
Some experience with hydraulics preferred but not required
Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions
Must pass a physical, drug test, and criminal background check prior to employment
Must haves:
Steady hands
Attention to detail and quality of work
Ability to bend, lay, sit, kneel, or stand for the entirety of your shift
Prior personal or work experience with hand and power tools
Ability to read and follow blueprints and schematics
Steel toed boots
