The Account Manager role is a strategic partner to Clients & Sales Account Executives.This position is responsible for managing and growing NBCU’s partnerships with Advertisers and ultimately enabling our clients to reach their business objectives. You will play a key part in ensuring campaign success & communicating key campaign learnings to better support our clients.As an Account Manager, you will:Play a critical role within our fast-paced Ad Sales team to support the full sales cycle, spearheading proposals through executionBe responsible for managing & developing client relationshipsProactively identifying strategic approaches for new or incremental opportunities as well as upselling products and servicesContribute to revenue, advertiser education & advertiser satisfaction through establishing and building trusted client relationshipsDeliver a best-in-class partnership experience for NBCU advertising clients and their campaignsMaintain a high standard of operational excellence while executing effective, performance-driven campaignsLeverage your strong communication skills and attention to detail are required, as well as a focus on continual improvement and learningResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:Building and managing relationships with existing and potential new clients and agencies through routine communication; actively grow industry relationships in order to gain marketplace intelligenceSynergistically work cross-functionally with internal teams to drive incremental revenue and increase advertiser satisfaction (Sales, Client Partnerships, Streaming & Data Products, Content Partnerships, Planning, Marketing, Research, Operations, etc.)Support day-to-day client deliverables across the pre-sale and post-sale lifespan of campaigns. Lead communication for all internal deliverables related to client and sales supportCollaborate with a diverse group of internal cross-functional teams including Pricing, Inventory, Ad Ops and Measurement to ensure successful campaign executions and troubleshoot client issuesYou not only analyze data to understand trends, you clearly communicate the “why” behind results and deliver actionable insights & recommendations to both internal and external partners Develop campaign strategies and audience targeting recommendations Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NBCU features and audience trends, and serve as an external product expert, educating clients on new and existing ad solutions and advising on best practices to achieve advertiser KPIs
