Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Attorney/Lawyer in Chicago, Illinois. As an Attorney/Lawyer, you will primarily focus on handling electronic documents, operating on platforms like Relativity, and reviewing the relevance and privilege of client's documents. This role sits within the legal industry and requires adeptness in dealing with patent cases, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector.Responsibilities: Handle a significant amount of electronic documents, primarily consisting of emails and collections from One Drive and Teams. Utilize the Relativity platform for data management and Consilio for running and saving searches. Meet the established deadlines, ensuring efficient completion of tasks. Review the relevance and privilege of client's documents before their production. Engage actively in document review processes, leveraging skills in Case Management Software and Adobe Acrobat. Use your knowledge of civil litigation, claim administration, and complaint handling to resolve issues effectively. Utilize your proficiency in 3M and Conveyancer for better document management and briefing processes. Apply your expertise in the tech or pharma background to handle patent cases effectively. Make use of your Hebrew language skills to aid in document translation processes. Manage consumer electronics-related cases, using your industry knowledge and skills. Requirements The candidate must possess a strong understanding of 3M products and their legal implications. Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat for document management and editing is essential. Prior experience with Case Management Software to manage and streamline legal cases. Mastery of Conveyancer software to assist with real estate transactions and other legal processes. Demonstrated ability in Document Management to organise and maintain legal documents efficiently. Excellent briefing skills to effectively communicate case progress, strategies, and upcoming actions. Extensive experience in Civil Litigation to represent clients in non-criminal disputes. The candidate must have a strong background in Claim Administration to manage and process insurance claims. Excellent complaint handling skills to address client issues and concerns effectively. Knowledge of Consumer Electronics and their legal aspects. Experience with Relativity software for organizing data, conducting searches, and managing legal cases. Proven skills in Document Review to analyze and evaluate legal documents for relevance and privilege.
